Yin Yoga : Release & Restore

Date: Sunday April 26th, 4-5:15pm at The Yoga Tree 💫
Cost: Sliding scale $11-$33 + tax

Come slow down and balance your energy 🐌✨

A slow, grounding class to help your whole being unwind

You will be guided through a full-body practice designed to soften tension and invite deep restoration from feet to crown. Yin invites you to meet your edge, allow rather than force, and deepen into stillness and presence.

Yin Yoga is a slower, meditative practice where poses are held for several minutes to gently stretch, align, and hydrate the yin tissues of the body — fascia, ligaments, and connective tissue. Instead of muscular effort, we focus on stillness and softening to create space and expand mobility.

This practice is open to all levels and ideal for anyone seeking nervous system support, full-body opening, and a gentle reset.

Who is Yin Yoga for?

  • Those who have active lifestyles or movement practices

  • If you feel stressed, overstimulated, or fatigued

  • If you are seeking a quieter, more meditative practice

  • Wanting to improve mobility and reduce tension

Meet your guide

  • Julie is an artist, bodyworker, and yoga teacher. She will guide students into a version of yin that works for their body, and offer therapeutic touch and assistance.

  • Before class begins, please let Julie know if you are working with or recovering from injury, specifically any joints.

Please bring:

  • A yoga mat

  • Small water bottle for post yoga hydration

  • Wear comfortable, breathable clothing you can move in

Keep your eyes out for a welcome email prior to class and email julie@alightenbody.com with any questions.

We look forward to welcoming you to the yin space ✨
