The quality of our presence and wellbeing is our greatest masterpiece

Meet Julie

LMT,‍ ‍RYT, Artist

For most of my life I have been enamored by the visual arts working as a designer and painter. Over the years, my passion for healing, wellness, and movement grew as I sought out support in my own healing journey. With the support from bodywork, I found greater balance and harmony and an expanded capacity for life. I realized what a beautiful fusion of art and science the practice was, and how it braided together many threads of interests.

In many ways I’ve found that bodywork mirrors the intentions and techniques I’ve found in my painting practice. I believe that the quality of our presence and wellbeing is our greatest masterpiece, and being in an embodied core is a potent way to be plugged into your creativity and expression. Holding space for deep work and transformation inspires me deeply. When we are aligned within ourselves from the root, all of our effort can go into what makes us feel most alive. In my practice I value intention, clarity, and deeply listening to what is present. I’ve found that fluidity and ease naturally emerges by creating space, harmony, and coherence in the body-mind.

Outside of bodywork and art, I am also a certified yoga teacher and study and practice yoga styles of Ashtanga, Yin, and Kundalini. I am versed in many kinds of healing, movement, and expressive arts, and offer this multidisciplinary perspective in my sessions.
